Avelox Uses  

Avelox is an oral prescription drug to treat community-acquired pneumonia, skin and skin structure infections, complicated intra-abdominal infections, acute bacterial sinusitis, acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, and plague. This is prescribed to patients 18 years of age and above.

Avelox Dosage Forms  

This is available in Avelox 400 mg tablet.

Avelox Mechanism of Action  

It works by suppressing topoisomerase II or DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, which are required for DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination of bacteria. It manages bacterial infections by inhibiting the growth of bacteria.

How to Take Avelox
