In jurisdictions where it is necessary for the original prescription to be converted into a domestic prescription for fulfillment by the dispensing pharmacy, the member shall ensure that the secondary reviewing physician assessing the patient’s personal health information conducts an independent review to determine whether a domestic prescription should be issued.
